SOUTHAMPTON, UK

Stage Right Theatre Consultants were appointed by Barton Peveril College to assist architects Stride Treglown in the re-imagining of their existing thrust theatre into a versatile space for combined arts including dance, theatre and large lecture presentations. SRTC led the design in new lighting, sound and AV infrastructure to support today’s modern technical production expectations operated by the college's skilled technical staff.

A key part of the brief for the SRTC team was to provide a space that could quickly and regularly transform from a theatre, supporting full scale college productions, with a large open rehearsal and teaching room, to a fully populated space for large capacity presentations and gatherings.

SRTC relished the opportunity to help create a new, versatile and state-of-the-art performance space to help nurture and showcase tomorrow’s performers.
